Saudi Arabia accepted Conditional Offer Letter now want to back out!

Hi,

I accepted a conditional offer letter with a company in Saudi Arabia on one of the Giga projects. I've since found out some things that make it not my first choice. I have another offer that I would like to accept. I am worried that because I signed the offer letter from the first company, they have attested my degree and issued the documents for me to get my visa from the embassy, if I back out will I be blocked?

I have not signed the contract yet though. They gave me the signed version to co sign and submit to embassy for visa, but I haven't done it yet.

Basically if I kindly email them I don't want to proceed, will that affect my visa with the other company who has made me an offer?

An offer letter is not legally binding so there won't be an issue. Unless you have signed the one-pager contract that needs to be submitted for visa, there are no issues.
