Senior Finance Manager/Analyst
Description of Responsibilities:
1. Preparation of accurate and timely company monthly and yearly financial accounts in accordance with company financial policies and international financial reporting standards
2. Completion of financial analysis of company actual and projected financial results sufficient for effective shareholder and management decision making
3. Preparation and distribution of accurate and timely client invoices, reporting of aged debtors and follow up on the collection to achieve client contractual obligations
4. Preparation and completion of accurate and timely monthly staff payrolls
5. Accurate and timely support of the company external financial auditors for each financial year audit
6. Preparation of accurate and timely company financial budgets, with inputs from departments, in accordance with company financial policies
7. Completion of detailed and accurate financial analysis and modeling for proposed company investments in school and other businesses sufficient for effective shareholder decision making
8. Provision of financial management consulting services to clients that meet their requirements
9. Support the Personal Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer in ensuring we have accurate monthly client project/time/profitability reporting
10. Prevention of the loss and theft of company funds and assets
11. Provision of company financial management, as a member of the company management team, for a growing business across multiple countries
12. Development and implementation of effective company financial policies, processes and procedures
13. Recommend and participate in improvements in accounting systems so they are fit for purpose for our accounting requirements
14. Leadership and supervision of accounting assistants as required by business growth
15. Contribute to K-12 school business operations requirements as needed
16. Understand the client’s business requirements and provide suitable solutions to meet their requirements.
17. Achievement of internal KPIs for business development, revenue delivery, and client satisfaction
18. Consistently demonstrate alignment with IEC’s values
Experience in the financial sector with previous possible roles such as financial analyst
Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns
Proficient user of finance software
Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
Banking background is a plus
Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used
A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations
• Chartered candidates i.e. CFA/CPA, ACCA, CIMA will be prioritized.
• Proficient user of finance software.
