Today's Weather

Had a few shitty days / rain / thunder. Today its 18°C. Not complaining because we really did need the rain. The grass was yellow, although we could use the sprinkler, I am reluctant to waste the water, grass doesn't die and always grows back. - @SimCityAT

Yes, it will grow back.  Our grass looks quite scrubby but it always did.  We don't have a water shortage around here but farmers are suffering out in the countryside.  The fields definitely need some rain.  And if there are problems on the farms, it's going to worse downstream for us too.

I am of the opinion, we're going to way of Mars. CO2 will keep all the heat in, water will disappear and the human race will disappear.  Humans are much the same as locusts. Eat ourselves to oblivion.

16C and mostly cloudy; forecasting a high of 19C.  The wind is back with a vengeance.  Weekend is more of the same.

Wind is a serious issue here these past days.   It's roughing up our plants.   We have sunflowers growing (Mrs F loves them - very keen on Rembrandt's sunflower paintings). In their early stages, the stalks are very weak.  I've had to remove two this morning as the stalks were broken.   No coming back from that. Not like they'd heal up.

18.6C, wind 3 m/s from NW, UV not showing (but odd as it's blazing sunshine), no clouds on the barometer, humidity 53%. Sunset 20.43h.

It's still too cold to swim in Balaton.  We're going there so no canoes or paddleboards. I'm going to take my bike instead and do some "training" (taking the bike on the train, the ferry Siofok to Balatonfured, cycling a bit, ferry again, then lazily returning).  Probably a major snooze-a-thon for the weekend.  I'm deliberately not in a rush.
