Absolutely Anything Else
16 for anyone let alone a boy means many changes.
Fall in love one day, out the next.
I know my mother died not allow us to date any one person more then a few dates to avoid us,falling in love, and getting carried away.
I never had a crush on anyone seriously in school;
Maybe for a couple weeks from the sideline.
I could not deal with my strict mother and knew my limits.
I was going to do things my way without any help.
Did that sort of by running away at 17 but it was not easy or always fun.
My eldest sister was head over heals in love in collage with some guy. He married another girl because she was with child. My sister was a ,good girl, and was a virgin when she finally married.
Her heart was broken however and she never forgot him.
She married, moved to the UK after her divorce, remarried in the UK, divorced again and moved back to Ca.
Ran into her ,True Love in a store!
He was also divorced and single;
They hooked up and married.
Moved to Minn; for his job.
He turned out to be an alcoholic and his teen daughter moved in with them.
The baby who, ruined her life.
They divorced then she married a young guy who had a karate studio and did computer repairs.
Bought a nice house, fixed it up etc; Then he started an affair with a younger student of his.
Divorced again! Sister has given up on relationships.
4 down and no more to go!
My bro wrote again from jail;
He asked us to look up his condo in Camerillo to see if it is for sale;
No, so far it is not.
He bought it back in 2017 for $345,000. Must be worth allot more now in 9 years time.
Hate to see that witch wife get it all.
I just looked at how much my bros, condo sells for as of today;
$501.400, not too shabey take any profit and move out of overpriced Ca; and he could be fine, just needs a good lawyer. - @Marilyn Tassy
Well, your bro won't leave jail empty handed or completely down on his luck. He's got some assets there which is useful. Maybe he should move into the condo, at least temporarily. He doesn't have to tell anyone from the other side he's there. Post should go elsewhere, maybe a PO box or Poste Restante for collection.
I was talking to a US guy the other day and he signed a pre-nup with his soon to be ex-wife. So each to their own. From what I understand his potential ex-wife has a good job and income and their kid is an adult. Nothing more to say - just a straight split I expect.
The other thing is that the definition of madness is doing the same thing again and again and expecting a different result. Don't get married. I say that being on the 2nd marriage with no intention of changing. Do Death Do Us Part.
Anyway, our lad will no doubt meet plenty of potential partners. You have to remember that rush of young love. I've got a bit of nostalgia for that feeling BUT knowing now what I know, I do know that's not enough for a long life together.
Wish my bro could move into their condo but the witch is there!
He has to avoid her at all costs or he could find himself behind bars for a decade or longer!
She is poison! Black widow spider!
No, best he take a loss if needed then see her face again!
I should be kinder but I know she has a few health issues. Never know, maybe we will get lucky and the grime reaper will visit her soon!!
If only!
5 months ago she put all his things into storage and moved him out of their condo.
He probably has lost everything, she wrote telling him she would only pay for one month of rent.
My SIL was willing to cover the costs but we did not have the info of where the place was etc.
Probably in the thousands now with late fee and such.
I hope he never marry,s anyone again.
I am starting to understand why some people fly solo and some leave everything to a animal charity.

That's bad news it all went to storage with no details. She knew what she was doing. If he doesn't pay for the storage, they'll auction the contents off. I've seen that on TV shows.
A friend of mine came home once and found all his stuff in the front garden of the house he shared with his GF. Obviously people passing through thought it was a free for all and stuff disappeared.
I didn't realise it was the shared home. Well, he can sell his half but I guess under terms of ownership, both sides will have to agree to the sale. At the end of the day, there's going to have to be an agreement. Arguing between parties just gives the lawyers a nice pay day. More arguments and sniping, the better it is for them.
His silly witch wife has no concept of money.
Easy to spend, hard to make.
That,s why he was living like a homeless person in his van before she back stabbed him for the hundredth time.
Like I mentioned, she blew though over $800,000 on herself in one of her dramatic episodes while she tossed my bro out of their shared home a few years ago for 6 months;
He has to be a , good boy, sit, lay down and fetch or she gets angry.
I really dislike her, she seems gentle when you meet her but underneath she is a snake.
I am upset with him for putting up with it for years. Had no idea he was her lap dog.
I am dealing with my own storage wars ATM.
I got them to reduce my rent by a measly $61. a month on 2 units;
Still getting scammed, ATM they have a special going on for $35. a month for a 5x5 foot unit, I was paying $140; and $178 a month! From $318 to now $257.
Never got to speak to a human, just AI!
I tried calling this morning to ask for a better deal or I was moving out.
A long time customer of over 10 years.
Well have to call back during office hours because they will not even let you leave a message until their office opens in the US. AI with office hours!! Unreal!!
Yesterday we went to the land office to see about something; They close at noon!
Nice work hours if you can get them, 7:30 am till Noon with Friday closing at 10:30 am!
I dislike this AI world!

We were at the land office a way back and yes, it all closes down really early. Why do they get time off by closing early? To do what? They did excuse themselves as having back office work. Well, hire more people to do that so you can satisfy us, the "customer".
I was also arguing with AI this morning because AI didn't understand me. In the end I kept saying "human please" and eventually after it was complaining and trying to keep online, it gave in and let me chat with a mortal. I resolved my problem with a human in one minute. So I am not that concerned how AI will fix everything as it cannot do even the most minor things competently. I do use it to summarise information and it saves me a lot of time. I do check very carefully what it says in case it goes mental and has hallucinations.
Maybe your bro could get an AI partner. I read about this as being a fad in Asia. Not really sure about that. But I guess it's one way of living. AI partners cannot hug you or make you dinner. Or just hang out in bed. Cheap to run though. Like an electric car. One thing I read is that AI enquiries use quite a bit of power and also uses a fair bit of water. We'll turn the planet into a desert.
Oh no, not an AI GF!
My husband teases me saying he wants a robot wife who he can turn off as needed!
Land office said any papers they give are only good for 30 days.
Wow not long.
Husband has decided to go into city hall and get a code for the online portal from the gov.
Had one before, not sure what happened to our old codes but we need new ones;
I did not bother much for myself about getting one because I still can not read what it says.
Saw a movie last night about a young teen boy and his first love;
A Russian story from the 1820s, but made me think of a young man like you have at home and how easy they can be used and hurt.
Called, Lovers Prayer, on U tube staring Kisten Dunst. Sad but also filmed very beautifully, customs background etc.

That 30 days is normal for all government. It's in case they make a mistake. It's never their fault anyway. I read a lot about he HU property law when we were in dispute with our neighbour.
I have that government code. I get BS e-mail now from Fidesz using my details to tell me how great they are. Once you're in the system, they never leave you alone with their spamming over OV's latest pronouncements. They often invite me to participate in referendums. Bit dumb.
I seem to remember an Outer Limits or Twilight Zone episode where a lonely miner or worker on a remote outpost receives a very attractive robot wife after his neighbour orders one. I think she serves him faithfully and takes over mining when he dies. I don't remember the actors but one of them might have been Jean Simmons or someone quite famous as the robot. There was twist in it like she might have killed him deliberately. I just don't remember the details.
Now that you mention it, I sort of remember that episode , not sure what show though.
Hmm, do not think most guys want one to work in a coal mine, have ,other ideas...YIKES
I dislike how the gov, make it your problem to follow their rules.
Tried to watch that long Trump speech, skipped portions but still could not stomach it.
All those in attendance looked like they had drank the cool-aid!

Well, yes, most of those applauding Donny are his fans. Utter waste of time for him to do grandstanding. A few web sites do fact checking and most of what he said was actually spin or outright untrue.
I do agree, the govt always tries to make you pay for complying but of course, they wrote the rules in the first place. There is one argument for it and that's regulation is necessary for a functioning society. One has to buy into it in order to be a part of it. Sounds like a self-fulfilling prophecy.
I can see the actors in that robot episode in my head. The guy was a crusty old actor, well known for his character performances. The contrast was the very attractive robot. I've asked ChatGPT and it's not got much of a clue. I've tried this before with it and it cannot figure it out. If I can remember the actor as the lead character, then it'd be easy. He had mutton chops sideburns.
There are similar kinds of episodes, one of which was a Martian wife! The main character started out thinking of his robot as a thing, a chattel and a tool. Of course how the message it was to be a woman or even a slave, way back when (and possibly even now in some societies). The guy then comes to love his robot, see it as a person and is terribly upset when it fails (dies). Something like that. I may be mixing up these stories together.
It's really taking up some time trying to remember this robot or Martian story. I'll try and remember. I'd like to see it again.
Ah got it now - got worked out by AI online - it does have its usefulness.
The Lonely - episode of The Twilight Zone. Season 1 episode 7.
In the space age, an inmate named Corry, convicted of murder, is sentenced to fifty years' solitary confinement on a distant asteroid. On the fifteenth day of the sixth month of the fourth year of incarceration, he is visited by the spacecraft (flown by a Captain Allenby) that brings him supplies and news from Earth four times a year. Allenby has been trying to make Corry's stay humanely tolerable by bringing him things to take his mind off the loneliness, like the components to build an old car. He believes Corry that the killing was in self-defense and sympathizes with him.
While Corry expects that perhaps he and Allenby will have time to play cards or chess, the captain informs the inmate that the ship and crew can stay only fifteen minutes this time; the asteroid's orbit is such that they would otherwise be stuck fourteen days at least, awaiting favorable orbital conditions to depart. Allenby's crew resent being away from Earth because of the likes of Corry; they delight in bringing news that Corry's pardon was rejected and that murder cases are not even being reviewed. This causes Corry to feel that there is no way he is going to last out the years and the loneliness. Before leaving, Allenby orders his men to fetch a large crate which the captain instructs Corry to not open until the transport crew is out of sight—they have no clue what is inside the box.
Upon opening this special container, Corry discovers that Allenby has left him with a gynoid named Alicia to keep him company. Alicia is capable of emotions and memory and has a lifespan comparable to a human. At first, Corry detests her, rejecting her as a mere machine; synthetic skin and wires only capable of mocking him. However, when Corry hurts Alicia and sees that she is in fact capable of crying, he realizes that she has feelings. Over the next eleven months, Corry begins to fall in love with her. Alicia develops a personality that mirrors Corry's, and the days become bearable.
Stars:
- Jack Warden as Corry
- John Dehner as Allenby
- Jean Marsh as Alicia
I knew Jean Someone and it turned out to be Jean Marsh. I thought Jean Simmons. I was close! Not bad guess considering I saw it 30+ years ago.
Forget about doing puzzles to keep the memory sharp.
Just think about old tv shows and who started in them.

Haha, yes, I'm not interested in puzzles but I am interested in old TV and movies.
I've been on my Yul Brynner binge (saw 3 of his movies) and it seems, I might start a Jean Simmons track. Not a Jean Marsh track - I watched the Twilight Zone episode. Only 24m long.
Mrs Fluffy tells me Spring has arrived. I'll get to find out when I get back soon enough! I've had enough now. I can only take so much restaurant food and hotel breakfasts.
Yes, it was beautiful today in Hungary.
Slightly windy but sunny.
I told my husband if I had a garden, today I would be out there.
Yul Brynner, the old Hollywood films were so much better then today,s selections.
Enjoy where ever you are now Now is the only reality we know!

I think CNN will go to the right now. It's always been anti-Trump. However Ellisons are not known for their critical views of Trump. The regulators in the US are unlikely to do anything about it. However, there's always a chance European regulators (who must also give approval) will force a plurality - like CNN should be spun off.
I have avoided watching any news for a few days.
Looks like a mess out there in the middle east.
Heard the US embassy was hit and US planes have gone down.
Not the best time to be a tourist over there.
I dislike hearing any of this, does not matter what side, just terrible that anyone needs to be hurt.
Feel sorry for anyone who is trapped away from home over there right now.

Yes, best not to look at it. Not good news all the time. And what's it actually about? It's just not clear.
Dubai is a popular place to visit but no good for geography. It's really close to Iran. I've been to Dubai so many times, I've no interest in visiting it again. Also been to Abu Dhabi and a few others around there. Nothing special. If you've got money, it's luxurious but if not, it's all a bit fake. No serious history or culture worth looking at. It's like a kind of Arabic LV.
I'm trying to get home by going to the Far East and going around that way and not going West. If I go to Japan, I can fly over the North Pole (Hallo Santa!) and come down via the igloos to Vienna or to somewhere in Europe closer anyway. I have looked even at Munich. That's 6h driving from Budapest. It's not looking cheap to have an alternative. Everyone has the same idea and booked up all the alternative flights so it's looking quite bad to get a seat. And a lot of routings need visas. Very difficult at short notice.
US: We didn't start this war, but we'll finish it
Pete Hegseth is speaking at the Pentagon and declares: "We didn't start this war, but we'll finish it."
He says the Iranian regime has been waging war against the US "for 47 long years" but didn't declare it openly.

With flights cancelled across the Middle East, the UK Foreign Office is working on plans to evacuate tens of thousands of Britons stranded in the region. At least 300,000 Britons are in countries targeted by Iran since Saturday.
The largest mass evacuations in decades.

Looks like some flights are leaving Abu Dhabi for places like London. I don't see any leaving Dubai.
I read there were 90,000 people who need to be evacuated, possibly by bus to Riyadh for onward flights.
Let's say it's 100 per bus incl. luggage.
That's 900 buses. If each one takes 5h to make the journey, it would take 5 buses every hour, 24h day, 7 days a week for 7 days to move that many people. In fact it would take double buses because they'd come back empty.
It's huge logistics.

Oh boy!
The travel hassles are real then.
I do hope you find a way home that does not break the bank and is safe.
IDK, who in their right mind would go to the middle east within these last few months or so with all the garbage Trump has been sprouting.
Only a matter of time before he snapped.
Abu Dhabi, not exactly Vegas but full of dancing girls!
I have zero interest in seeing that part of the world, could tell one had to be wealthy and hang in a resort or it was just a dry dusty desert.
Lived in Vegas, not my idea of a resort. Pool side and drinks only, otherwise there is nothing to see.
At least in the desert of New Mexico you can see snakes that are not human and roadrunners.
The air is nice in New Mexico too, high desert air is fresh and crisp and the sun is strong.
Weird thing in NM, many Germans live there, they like the high altitude and mountains.

Yes, it's not good. My plane is cancelled yet again. At the moment, I'd take any plane that is going to Europe but everything is full up. I do have a plan but I need to get it accepted. Where I am is also becoming a hotspot. People here are worried about full on Indian-Pakistan conflict.
I'm now telling my employers that sending me into an active war zone is not the right idea and they need to get me back to Europe. At any cost. Getting to Dubai is just piling on problems there. I would be stuck in a hotel at risk of being bombed. I've found one plane I could take next Monday but it's relatively annoying with 8h wait between flights. And it takes me to the UK. It is good enough as it is my own country and I have many options to get back to Budapest.
I could do with some fresh air from NM, it's really polluted and we're in a valley which traps the pollution. As it warms up during the day, and the sun comes out, it's a recipe for smog. Anyone with breathing difficulties would probably die. They need a greening programme to create green oxygen generating spaces.
I will keep you in my prayers although I know many people do not believe in the power of prayer, I do.
Man, when things go crazy they happen fast.
Maybe in the future it is time to think of another way to support companies without having to put yourself at risk.
Money is nice but not worth your life or safety.
Poor Mrs. Fluffy, she is probably very concerned, maybe even more then you are since she can only imagine what is going on.
8 hour lay over, hmmm, you can deal with it if it means getting home in the end.
Perhaps see about a lounge to rest in. Traveling is very stressful under normal conditions.
Just think this will end and you will be home soon!

How things changed since the middle of the night! It's all sorted. I told them to activate their contingency budget to get me back to the mothership. I also CC'd in the biggest boss. He can sort out any blockages.
I will now go to India, then to Saudi Arabia (aka KSA) for the 8h 15m layover, then to the UK. And fully flexible in Business Class. Free lounges and nice seats on an empty plane - it looked completely empty. I even got a free tourist visa for Saudi. They made it feel welcoming which rather surprised me. I mean, who wants to go to KSA anyway? But I will just stay in the airport as it'll be really late. I could go outside to look at the outside and get a souvenir stamp in my passport. I can sleep in the lounge a bit and on the second leg to the UK. I can pick up my UK car and use it while I am there. I have already got a ticket back to BUD.
Anyway, I'll believe it when I arrive in the UK.
Mrs F is OK really. She's used to me going to funny places. We are in constant communication with WhatsApp and text messages and video calls. We are all connected up constantly. The major hazard in my line of work are road accidents. Crossing the road is majorly dangerous anywhere these days.
Good to hear it has worked out!
Business class, how posh!
You must have allot of frequent flyer miles!

It'll only work out when I reach civilisation, i.e the UK. . It's fraught with difficulties. Business class fully flex is an attempt to have a recourse to alternates if I miss any connections as I have independently bought tickets for different legs. One of the legs is almost certain to be late as it is regularly but I have 5h margin for delays. It seems I took into account risks. Where I am the main airport only has one runway so it gets very congested but the airline taking me is known for delays.
This is the first time in a long while I've been any distance, so probably I'll get some solid FF miles but how to use them? I'm usually going Star Alliance airlines using Lufthansa FF numbers but this time, I'm mixed up with Sky Team which is a group I am unlikely to be involved in as they don't have so many flights I want to use. Guess we'll see.
I have a another job potentially on which is going to be an absolutely mega trip across major continents and oceans to Asia Pacific. It's going to take 3 days to get there and 3 days back with hardly any transit time wasted.
Of course, for planning are all the airlines are saying via Doha, Dubai or Abu Dhabi. Anywhere near there is madness - chaos will go on for weeks. So there's a possibility of going across to Canada (stop off see No. 2 Fluffyette+hubby), then maybe to Australia and then NZ via Singapore and then from there to the destination. Well, who knows if it will happen. Need the paperwork signing before we get into the weeds cum long grass.
About the Middle East, I heard someone on the radio say the "Flintstones don't like Abu Dhabi but Emiratis.... Abu Dhabi doo".
Must be an oldie but it was new to me. We're of the right age to know the Flintstones catchphrases. People under about 40, probably won't know what it all means.
My dad always flew business class when she was flying long-haul flights; he paid extra to be upgraded..
On holiday to Australia, NZ he would just go 1st class.
I could never see the difference really, well nothing major.
Flintstones,what a throw back.
A few years ago in Las Vegas my cousin, a retired recovery room nurse from John,s Hopkins hospital came to Vegas to visit us when we were visiting my son.
We showed her around, she is a very conservative person, money wise although she is rather well off. Her deceased husband who was from India owed half a fish farm, was a professor of economics in some Uni in Maryland , well anyways we took her slumming in Vegas; Even got her a cocktail and forced her to gamble a whole $5. She was so excited when she won back her $5; You would of thought she won mega bucks or the lotto. She stayed in a nice off the strip hotel, Marriot maybe? The staff there were Russians; She blew my mind when she spoke fluent Russian with them and even cracked jokes that only a Russian would get!
Someone in the family tree had some brains, certainly not me though!
We took her to some auto museum where they stored all the cars from films, the Delorean from Back to the Future, Libetace,s Rolls Royce etc;
They had the Flinstone foot car from the Flintstone movie.
Of course I was able to get behind the wheel of that as an attraction and took some stupid photos of us pushing off with our feet!
Safe travels, I would dislike even thinking of a long 3 day trip after going through what you are ATM.
Got another letter from my brother.
He sends them to my cousins and she forwards them on to everyone.
He has finally been moved to a level 1 facility.
He misses he guys from a small church group he was in at the other prison.
Mentioned anyone can get locked up, one of his buddies was a CHP Calif. Hwy. Patrol officer!
In already for 7 years! No idea what he did.
My cousins also got my blood pressure up by showing a post from FB from his wife;
Someone asked how my bro was doing and her answer got me riled up.
She said, I guess he is OK, I had him put in jail for 2 years for trying to kill me!
I wish he had finished the job!
He gets out in June so not the full 2 years but still...
It is a good thing I am not on FB now or words would be flying and I would be banned.
Never start a job you can not finish!
Mr.Fluffy, you must know so good travel hacks by now.
What seats to book, how to sleep on a plane etc.
You could share on U tube and make another income stream.

Mainly you get better seating, improved food, increased baggage and most importantly nowadays flexible rebooking. There's also WiFi and beds. It is possible to work usefully on the plane. First class is a bit silly but people do pay. IMHO, Business class and First differences are marginal.

I don't know anything I would call a hack but my advice is not to use travel agents by default. If there's something wrong with the booking - like a war - then you have no access to changes. It's pathetic. This is what was wrong here. I had to deal with the lazy ass travel agent with short working hours due to the time difference. They didn't even work weekends. Delays and delays and half-baked BS. I was forced into it by the people who employed me. I told them at the beginning I want to own the reservation but they said no. And now I had to take action and it's cost them a load more money. I will eventually get it back as neither they or I am paying for the extra cost. It's force majeure (unexpected events).
Only things else I can say is avoid the emergency exits, don't sit near the toilets as the flush and queueing wakes you up, don't sit where there's a bulkhead as no bag space under the seat in front, wear clothes that do not have metal (no buckle or plastic belt) and use slip on and off shoes. Helps at security and also on the plane. Drink lots of water - flying is dehydrating. No alcohol or limited - it dehydrates people. Always wear loose fitting clothes - like track suit type clothing with draw strings at the waste. Don't dress up. I often see passengers wearing suits or dolled up. Utter waste of time. Flying is terrible really and people get crumpled up. Try to take 1 or 2 changes of clothes in hand baggage. One never knows about delays. At least underwear/socks etc and a T-shirt. To and from EU flights, they are obliged to look after you.
I thought cops or criminal defence lawyers held in prison had to be put in solitary or SHU (Secure Housing Unit - solitary) otherwise other prisoners would seek revenge.
I find it weird people can be held in prison like they were convicted while on remand. I believe in the UK, if one is on remand, one can wear one's own clothes and conditions are substantially different. But I'm not completely clued up on it so somewhat guessing.

Hungary seizes millions of euros in cash and gold from Ukrainian convoy
Seven Ukrainians arrested and money-laundering investigation launched in latest spat between Kyiv and Budapest
Volodymyr Zelenskyy responded to the loan veto on Thursday with what sounded like a physical threat to Orbán. “We hope that one person in the European Union will not block the 90 bn Otherwise we will give this person’s address to our armed forces, to our guys. Let them call him and talk to him in their own language,” he said, in comments that caused shock in Budapest.
The known to be corrupt, unelected dictator of Ukraine has threatened to assassinate Hungary's freely elected leader.
That sort of behaviour is unacceptable in normal political circles, but Zelenskyy will miss out on his cut of the EU cash if Hungary blocks yet more dole money to Ukraine.
It's really is time to cut Zelenskyy off from his cash cow.

I advise you Fred to cut the BS and moderate your language and tone. Now the other thread on International Relations has been closed down, we don't want this one to go the same way. You succeeded in closing the other one by your constant and unnecessary interference. This thread has a long history, many thousands of posts and it would be a shame for it to end because of your selfishness. It is not a substitute thread for International Relations. It's much more general with no subject. Start a new thread if you want to continue the International Relations conversation.
I will however answer - just once - your post here.
More importantly back to the subject, apart from the transit guards being from a legit UKR state bank, and as is quite normal moving money/gold to UKR, no-one seems to know what has actually happened to the physical money/gold. It looks like HU tax office has kept it. That's an outrageous infringement on UKR sovereignty. It's all part of the Zelenskyy vs Orban spat over the pipeline. It's becoming increasingly hysterical on OV's side. He's on course to lose big time in the April 12 election.
BTW, I used to work at a bank in a FRY (Former Republic of Yugoslavia) country and we regularly shipped and received physical cash to/from Austria. This was in the millions. We sent it by plane. That's just not possible in UKR these days. We had properly armed guards with both pistols and automatic weapons at both ends. Usually police were there too. It wasn't like people didn't know. The Austrians would have known, the HU authorities would have known. It's just nonsense.
There is nothing unusual at all in shipping volumes of cash like that. People need proper cash in notes and coins to live their daily lives. In places like UKR, cash is likely to be useful as the infrastructure being destroyed and not everyone will be able to use cards or electronic means.
The HU foreign minister Szijjártó just showed his ignorance of banking by his quotes about electronic transfer. Just political BS for his boss OV.

That was the string of insults from Simon.
Rather than reacting, I reported them as such. The last one finished the job.
Perhaps it might be a good idea to examine reasons before making dodgy claims that can be busted by a simple look at the final posts in that thread.

The cash and gold might well be normal - the gold is - but what do you think of the unelected Ukrainian leader threatening violence against the elected leader of Hungary?
This is a thread based in Hungary about anything at all, so a post about confirmed reports of a threatened assassination seems like a reasonable post.

Last word on the subject. Post anything else here in your usual style and you'll get no replies.
Start your own thread on Hungary if you want. See how far you get opinionating from Indonesia on Hungarian politics.
Meanwhile....
Nope, Zelensky did not threaten to assassinate Orban.
He said, Ukrainians could call Orban and explain to him what is going on. Or visit him at his house.
I even know where Orban lives and so does most of the population of Budapest. It's not difficult to know. I've driven past it many times.
We also all know where Orban's father lives too because he's got an estate near Budapest which has been under an enormous amount of independent media scrutiny as it's financed by unexplained wealth.
It's a bit like Putin's palace near Sochi.

The best flight I ever had was when we had bulkhead seats or when it was not full and I got to sleep flat out across a row of empty seats.
Flew first class once but it was domestic with no food service. Just more leg room and a nice wide leather seat on American Airlines.
Spending $10,000 for 11 hours in the air seems a bit rich even if you can afford it.That is the average price for first class transalantic.
I could have allot more fun for less!
Beautiful day today outside.
Spent hours walking around the farmers market.
It was really busy, guess everyone wanted to enjoy the spring like weather.
Ukraine and Hungary, IDK but I do know you have to report anything over $10,000 in cash and assets if you bring it in to any country.
Not a big deal to declare it.
My son had a wad of cash when he moved to Japan, just have to have them count it in a private area and show where it came from. Like a bank with drawl statement. It was fast, under 30 mins if I recall.

Mrs F said it was very nice today. It's pretty warm here. Around 22-23C. Dubai airport was bombed again - news video of a drone crashing on the airport. It would be insane to go via there.
Yes, there are anti-money laundering regulations but it doesn't apply to official inter-bank transfers, even across borders. They would have been in constant contact with their HQs, being monitored, probably guarded all the way to the borders, perhaps even armed themselves, and perhaps with diplomatic or service passports.
But some people in officialdom are not very au fait with these things. I've had to tell foreign civil service workers I've been working with that they should be issued with official passports when travelling for work overseas. It's for their own protection. Some of them just didn't know about it. One of my friends used to go out to British Embassies to do work on a short term basis. UK government always gave them a service/official passport they had to turn in after each trip.
The Hungarian government is just behaving like idiots.
Next time, the Ukrainians will probably fly the cash by cargo plane to a border area in Romania, possibly a military base, then take the cash into Ukraine by road.
In the meantime, the HU government should give the money and gold back. It's an international incident. The money belongs to the Ukrainian state and HU has no rights to it at all.
Of course security is everything BUT it's all insured anyway. When I worked in banks, the cash was always insured so if we got held up, the instructions were to just give the cash and let the robbers take it. The insurance would kick in and it's not worth losing one's life over.
