Unlimited work permit and annexe 46

Hello,

I am a non-EU national and currently employed in Belgium. I recently received an unlimited work permit from the Brussels-Capital Region (issued on 04/05/2026). I have the following questions:

1. How long does it usually take to receive Annex 46?

2. What type of residence permit will I receive, considering that I have been living in Belgium for six years (three years as a university student and three years as a full-time employee under a single permit with a permanent employment contract)?

3. Will the validity of my new residence permit start from the date the unlimited work permit was granted, or from the date Annex 46 is issued? My current residence permit expires in two months.
