Family reunification process duration

I am a non eu resident who is working in Belgium, I got married ( my wife is also non eu)and we will start the reunification process, any idea how long it takes ?

Ps: I don't know if this can make if faster but I love in a small town in Limburg.

Hello , normally it takes 9 months like me as well because we are non eu . There is no way to make it faster .

Because i am waiting for decision from feb 2023 .

But rest its depends on luck .

Is 9 months the standard, is it the maximum duration or average?

@SkanB Normally its 9 months but its wr on website that they can extend it two times till 15 months if necessary ..

but as i told you its depend on each file .. in the end you may never know ..

I've got email from the embassy that they forwarded my file to the belgian foreigners' office for examination and decision. This email was sent on october 5th.

I'm reading here from other people that they can check their file on the dofi website.

Unfortunately my file is still not online. How long I have to wait until my file is registered on the dofi website?
