Proof of accommodation - Municipality Registration

mohanealabib

Dear all,

Good afternoon. I have a question if i may..

I've just recently received the annex 46 and about to book an appointment for the D type visa in the Belgian embassy.

I managed to arrange an accommodation with another working friend expat in Brussels until i have my affairs in order and then find a permanent place of residence.

Upon speaking with another acquaintance of mine, she told me that in order to register myself in the concerned manucipality in order to start working, i need to provide a proof of accommodation in the form of a rental contract or a letter of hospitality of some sort.

I estimate to need a couple weeks before relocating to Belgium and have been unable to find a good place to rent due to time restrictions and financial reasons.

Is there anyway i can have a registered address while staying with my friend until i have enough time and means to have a place of my own?!

Your feedback is HIGHLY appreciated. Thank you so much in advance.
