Re-apply for family reunion visa

aliz4b

Hi I recently got my application denied. I’m reading and I see most of the people recommend re-apply instead of appeal.

My question is, if I want to first go to my home country and come back to re apply I have to stay there 90 days?

Thank you :)

Hello,

there's no delay in Belgium to re-apply for a visa (like some countries do...).

A family reunion is framed by laws, meaning that if your visa was denied, it means that one or multiple point(s) of the laws is/are not respected (low salary, accommodation, insurance, ...)

You must verify the reason of the deny and improve your file before submitting it again.

You can re-apply whenever you want and you'll have the same delay (6 months with EU or 9 months with non-EU).

But.... I'm not sure you're telling the full context. Are you already in Belgium? If it's the case, you must make sure you're allowed to come back and cross the border! (valid visa / resident card)

Note: Orange card doesn't allow you to cross the border!
