Again, I don't know about AU but in the US an LPN does not hold a Baccalaureate degree.  I know there are differing opinions about teaching without degrees but with a few exceptions you do need on for a work permit.

Thats correct, but as we all know,the way things work here is not by the law.

Anyone who has lived in VN for over a week should know that.  I am still conflicted about advising people to do something that is basically illegal. 

In the US there is an old joke about the hillbilly who fills out an application and answers two standard questions.  Question one: "Have you ever been convicted of a felony?" Answer: "No";  Question two:  "Why"  Answer: "Never got caught."  Of course you can get away with it but is it right?

Absolutely impossible Regina.

IF you were an RN with a unique specialty AND you were absolutely fluent in Tiếng Việt (the Vietnamese language) then there is a very very small chance that you might possibly be able to be hired somewhere, but it's just not happening here.

Vietnam has all of the native born nurses that it needs with nursing schools around the country continually graduating new nurses as old ones retire.

The government has to approve all hiring of any foreigners here, for any job.

The only way a foreigner can come here and find a job is if they qualify for an expert position that can't be filled as of yet by Vietnamese citizens.

I myself am a retired registered nurse from California. I looked into the hiring situation when I first came back here in 2018. I was 100% shut down and I know for a fact that a foreign LPN/LVN would never be hired here in Vietnam.
