we have signed for the house we are moving into on October 1st very near Da Nang Bay. A great neighborhood.

I lived in this North Da Nang neighborhood from November 2018 thru January 2019, during the heart of monsoon season.
I think this is one of the best kept secrets in town
I like renting a three bedroom partially furnished house for 10 Million VND. I especially like living away from the Expat bubble areas. Fresh market 2 streets away. 6 short city blocks to the bayside promenade and sandy beach of Da Nang Bay. Co-Op Supermarket very nearby. Easy Grab ride to the train station and the airport. A very quiet and beautiful tree-lined neighborhood here.

The weather is extraordinarily wonderful especially early in the morning when the Marine layer mist is still hanging on, and in the evening when the gorgeous sunsets light up the sky.
Sometimes I wish it were easier to find a good selection of fresh fruits and vegetables. In Vietnam there was always a little fresh market nearby. But my housekeeper knows where to go for shopping and can you usually find about 80% of what I'm looking for. I would really love to be able to find fresh okra here.
