Philippines and the ME War

Show some respect, that's King Trump. Long live the king.
Bobo writes, "These submarines are useless and can detected by air by these methods: *Magnetic anomaly detection (MAD) *Synthetic aperture radar (SAR)*Light detection & ranging (Lidar) *Thermal imaging - @Enzyte Bob
Are you intending to reference your assertion & search-engine guesses?
Anyway, something of probably more accuracy has become quite widely known in China lately, that's (haha) predicting the future :-)
"Jiang Xueqin, the viral ‘prophet’ predicting the world’s fate"
Beijing-based high-school teacher Jiang Xueqin may not seem like an obvious candidate for a geopolitical “prophet”. Dressed casually in a polo shirt, the greying Chinese-Canadian looks unassuming.
But through his hugely popular Predictive History YouTube channel, Jiang has become known as “China’s Nostradamus”, gaining a following for his outlook on world affairs.
While most of his fans are outside China, his lectures and interviews have been translated and uploaded on Chinese social media sites, prompting a range of discussion about his programmes and perspectives.
Jiang is best known for three “big predictions” he made in May 2024, when US president Joe Biden was still in office.
First, he said Donald Trump would win the presidential election later that year.
Second, he said the United States would launch a war on Iran.
Now Jiang’s fans are waiting to see if the third forecast will also come to pass – one that predicts a turning point in the global order.
Jiang was born in China in 1976 and moved to Toronto when he was six. He has described his parents as “very poor.” Despite a humble background, he graduated from Yale University in 1999 with a degree in English literature.
As recently as this February, he was listed as a researcher by Harvard University’s Global Education Innovation Initiative. He now teaches philosophy and English at Moonshot Academy, a Beijing school known for its innovative approach to education.
Jiang’s lecture in which he made his “big predictions” first went viral in June 2025, when Israel and the US attacked Iranian nuclear and military sites in a 12-day war.
But interest has soared again since the United States and Israel launched their war on Iran on February 28.
Now, his channel has more than 2 million subscribers and there is a cottage industry of channels that repackage his content. One, which dubs his lectures into Portuguese, has more than 200,000 subscribers.
Beyond his own channel, Jiang has been making appearances on podcasts and online video news shows, including an interview on British broadcaster Piers Morgan’s channel and an hour-long chat with US conservative commentator Tucker Carlson.
During the Carlson show, which refers to him as a “political prophet”, Jiang said the US would become mired in a drawn-out war of attrition in Iran that could last years.
That forecast doubled down on the third of his 2024 “big predictions”: that the US will lose the war in Iran, leading to a reshaping of the world order.
Jiang Xueqin predicts the US will be defeated in Iran, which will lead to a transformation in global geopolitics. So, what could this new order look like?
In Pax Judaica, the concluding lecture of his Secret History series, Jiang describes one theory of what might happen after the United States is forced from the Middle East.
Namely, a secret society, supposedly an alliance of Freemasons, Jesuits and a now-defunct Jewish cult, the Iluminati, would control the world from Jerusalem. (the name reminds one of a popular novel
In his interview with Piers Morgan, he described such secret societies as the “real power base” of the US.
“Jiang seems to carry a certain ‘Orientalist’ aura of mystery, appealing simultaneously to conservative values, liberal expectations of minority voices and left-leaning perceptions of China’s rising influence,” one commenter said.
Some critics said that despite Jiang being known as “China’s Nostradamus”, there’s little Chinese about his world view.
“Judging from his remarks, he appears to believe in the superiority of the Western-led order and does not seem particularly sympathetic towards China, but as an intellectual, he cannot simply dismiss China’s objective rise and growing strength,” one commented.

Given Trump has them, perhaps the rest of the world should attack America.
After all they have a lunatic apocalyptic wannabe dictatorship - @Fred
You don't get it Fred. The leaders in Iran will definitely start a nuclear war if they get the capability, your nonsense trump and usa comments notwithstanding. Basically, you and Steve, 2 peas in a pod, cannot stop Trump from taking residence in your brains. Nothing else matters; strait of hormuz shut down, GCC arbitrarily attacked by the lunatic regime, nuclear war...none of that is important. Orange man bad is all we can think or talk about.
- @danfinn
Iran, according to those with interests in war, has been days or weeks away from a nuke for at least 30 years.
This lie is more than a bit old.
However, the US has been at war without a break since 1947.
Jiang Xueqin predicts the US will be defeated in Iran, which will lead to a transformation in global geopolitics. So, what could this new order look like?
- @PalawOne
It seems the Chinese chap and I agree.
The US first seriously cocked up under Biden when he stole Russia's money. Other countries saw what the US did, and they didn't want to be next. That pushed nations towards China, and away from USD.
Trump has been a top quality arse. He's alienated US allies to the point where they refuse to support him and, in the case of Europe, actually deply troops in case of a US invasion.
More importantly, countries that previously did whatever the White house said are very publicly ignoring the US, or actively refusing their requests and demands.
Biden started what Trump will finish - The end of US hegemony, and the world will be better for it.
And Nixon blowing the sh1t out of Cambodia? Ah America.I care little and do have a laugh at the stupidity.Cheers, Steve. - @bigpearl
Wow, now that's a blast from the past! Your Hate America campaign goes back a long way, eh Steven? Like 1970. That is the great thing about discussion groups like this; sooner or later they tend to reveal the way that people really think of others. However, polls indicate that the Cambodians themselves are more positive to America than most other Aslan countries, a half century later.

US history is replete with violence. Mentioning the fact America's past to present is so nasty is not hate, it's history.

But your British ancestors, upon whose colonies the sun never set (the good Lord didn't trust them), has a great reputation for non violent rule in Asia, such as China and India. And their treatment of Ireland during the potato famine was criminal. Of course they started the African slave trade in their colonies that were only able to end their imposed slavery after the new country of America fought for it's end less than 80 years later. I think that is history as well. Should we become UK Haters Fred?
danfinn said . . . Today on this thread, between Fred and Steve and TDS, it is truly "Hate America Day", as evil Trump attempts to relieve the planet of the spectre of a thermonuclear holocaust brought on by the rest of the world standing by, as a lunatic apocalyptic dictatorship gains control of weapons of mass destruction.
**************************
It's true they do have TDS.
Bill Clinton balanced the budget, in retrospect he was a decent leader despite his flaws. Now instead of Trump being President and it were Bill Clinton none of this belly aching would be going on.
To the TDS boys for all practical sense the war is over. Trump is only asking other nations to help patrol the Strait of Hormuz to bring shipping back to normal which is a benefit to them.
Oil, Diesel, Gasoline, Kerosene, bottled Gas and LPG price will remain high until the strait is opened. If it is not opened the US will have plenty of supply, but many countries who are importers will certainly feel it when their current supplies run out. - @Enzyte Bob
President Bill Clinton let off his own weapon of mass destruction in Monica Lewinsky's mouth.

Much as the UK tries to be a world class force today, it's a shadow of its former self. There is little serious argument in favour of Britain's colonial days.
The US is still starting wars and killing lots of people.
The only real difference this war is the idiot in charge has upset the world's oil market to the point his stupidity if hurting much of the world.
Schopenhauer, had he not been as dead as he is, would be punching the air and addressing as many conferences as he can get paid for because Trump is perfect proof of his thoughts.
The difference between most opinionated idiots and Trump is the latter has massive power.
An idiot in a bar ranting on about how <pick your favorite enemy> is the cause of the world's problems, but failing to produce any eveidence beyond drunken versions of facts, is not much to care about. Simply finish your pint and move to another place.
Trump is at the same level as the drunk, but he can order massive attacks on countries. The big difference in this case is Trump won't follow any advice because he knows how right he is. Unfortunately, he's just the ranting drunk in the bar, but with a gun.
In this case, he's upset the whole world down to the personal lives of ordinary people.
The WMD war in Iraq didn't really change lives much for people save a new thing to watch on TV, but Trump's war is causing real world problems as they see petrol prices rise dramatically, and everything else increase as transport takes a hit.
This is now a world problem that requires a new strategy to mitigate.
The best way to start is by buying cheaper sanctioned oil, and paying for it in non-Dollar transactions.
That will reduce pump prices for everyone and tell the US its time as a worldwide bully is over.
Yes Bob I suffer TDS, thing is I've apparently suffered the fools B/S for over 40 years and always had an intense dislike for the man. He has an extremely sordid history that even MAGA hat wearers are well aware of and twice now have let the fool run the most powerful nation on earth,,,,,,, well he is causing that power to slip away and there are many standing inline.
What has the fool accomplished? Closing the borders? Thrilling. Drill baby drill? Thrilling. Have costs come down for the people as promised? No. Has he made lots of money? Yes.
Why is he trying to wipe out your countries history? Because it doesn't suit his takeover of the country, History is there to be learnt from and not ignored, shoved away so the upcoming future thinks a dictatorial leader was always right.
The sh1t is hitting the fan because of an ego and how much money can I and my friends make as I'm the captain and steer the ship where I want.
Your dump has created yet another forever war and so so many will suffer the consequences of idiocy.
You dudes elected a very poor leader that is consumed with himself and doesn't give a sh1t about those that elected him......... Seems the tide is turning, an ( the third ) yet another impeachment next year and I'm sure more to follow if the fool is not locked up and in the mean time? Your adversaries are. sitting back rubbing their hands together.
It's not the American people but the idiot they elected while well knowing he will screw them.
Matters little as we get older, have great retirements but for the younger souls in the future? Playing out now.
As always OMO.
Cheers, Steve.
@bigpearl
Steve . . . . Time to Dry Out, you keep repeating and repeating the same bleep over and over. Time to move
back to how your Solar Panels & EV are saving the environment for your grand kids.
By the way have you ever spent time with your grand kids in person?
For all you Trump haters . . . . He is King Trump, don't forget that, long live the King. - @Enzyte Bob
Back to Schopenhauer.
It is rather amusing to see people ignore the obvious in favour of idol worship, even when the fat sex offender is working directly against their interests.
On the bright side, this will very likely see the end of forever wars when the US finally slinks back. It will be very much like the death of the British empire, but with a lot more death and destruction.
Britain still makes noises like it actually matters, a lot like a yapping lapdog, but it's bite is tiny to the point is is pretty much ignored.
The US, I'm happy to say, is heading the same way.
@Enzyte Bob
Both of us broken records it seems?
I don't idolise a fool nor a God, only my wallet. Remember "thou shalt not worship false idols".
The time is coming for the removal of your new King and may well be sooner than you think.
Yes the solar and EV are a dream and no need to rely on a drill baby drill mentality , not a concern that wind turbines are killing whales or solar panels stop the grass growing, seems you don't gasp the concept as you are brainwashed by your King.
Yes spent time with 2 of my grandkids but the third is only 3 months old but no hurry to return to Oz yet.
As far as drying out? I submitted that post hours ago, My JD hits the glass after lunch.
Perhaps you should worry about stairs and getting away from your thieving stepson and not my thoughts, opinions are like noses, we all have one.
OMO.
Cheers, Steve.
bigpearl said . . . . The time is coming for the removal of your new King and may well be sooner than you think. JD hits the glass after lunch.

Your JD does your talking, but how will the King be removed sooner than I think? Sip another JD and tell us all how.
Not lunch time yet Bob.
Cheers, Steve.
bigpearl . . . . It's amazing to watch your transformation to and become Fred's lap dog.
Intelligent job Fred, well done, I salute you. You are truly a Schopenhauer genius.
The time is coming for the removal of your new King and may well be sooner than you think.
Cheers, Steve. - @bigpearl
I want him to stay for another term, but as a dictator.
That will finally finish off a terrible chapter in history.
President Bill Clinton let off his own weapon of mass destruction in Monica Lewinsky's mouth.
😂😂😂
Bob, Kings and fools or is it the emperors new clothes that most of us see right through, Your foolish king has dropped my share portfolio in Australia by over a quarter of a million bucks, do I look worried? Nope as that market is swings and merry go rounds, our Australian properties and bank accounts keep rising and as most retirees well know a bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush.
Your bleating about your king doesn't wash for most and particularly? How many souls turned up for No kings day in your mother country?
Your kings popularity rating? 38% last time I looked.
As for me getting into bed with Fred? I'm a thinker and not brainwashed like many. Fred does raise many good points that disagree with your thinking, Some can see the realities undies aside.
OMO.
Cheer, Steve.
Read Fred's post and then read yours, you've become his lap dog.
Mentioning King Trump sets off your hot button, control yourself doggy
The problem here us easy to see.
One side produces logical argument based around news and history, but the other just beats on about Trump being god.
It's impossible to win against blind messiah thinking.
That makes the thread a waste of time, or at least answering some posters is.
That makes the thread a waste of time, - @Fred
We have a winner!!!
Gods or Kings the people pay the price, history doesn't lie.
Onto the topic yes the People of the Philippines are hurting as are so many other countries. History has a knack of the revolving door scenario and I'm sure plenty are looking at alternatives for the future to cut reliance on a product that has been strangled and used so many times over the decades for whose benefit? It's certainly not the people. They're the poor bunnies that pick up the pieces of bad decisions.
Australia has just cut fuel excise by half to help and will certainly have a knock on effect on the federal budget. Perhaps the PH. government could look at doing the same?
Cheers, Steve.
https://oilprice.com/Latest-Energy-News … t-Ban.html
China is helping the Philippines.
Despite US actions that are causing so many serious problems for the world, and China needing every drop of oil it can get, they are sending some of their precious oil reserves in order to help you out.
Now you know which countries cause problems, and which lend a helping hand when you are in trouble.
Since this dump war started the price of Diesel has risen 81% in the Philippines, 52% in Australia, 41% in the US, Russia 0.5%.
While most of us retirees can weather the storm spare a thought for those that are suffering. Many states in Oz are offering free public transport, trains, trams and buses.
Perhaps Fred the Philippines government (other countries as well) could offer similar incentives as well as reducing fuel taxes to help the average punter out.
Cheers, Steve

Child, go back to bed. Iv'e been playing with the stock market for over 40 years and my choices are not influenced by others and have done extremely well.
Thing is the topic is about the ME war and how it affects the Philippines and not the me king war. Your ideology has come into question, perhaps open your eyes to realities. Some think with a clear head.
