Which mobile network service provider would you recommend as your number one choice in Pune? Which is the worst..

All are almost good. Airtel, Vodafone, Reliance.

If your usage is mainly in the City then BSNL is the worst !!

Well in pune Vodafone works well. Either you can go for Idea , which has effective network.
Don't go for aircel , uninor , tata docomo etc...bcoz at certain locations you might face problem.

From personal experience, I can safely say that Vodafone is the best atleast in Pune. Both cell coverage and 3G network. Airtel has sketchy cell coverage in certain parts such as Hinjewadi (outskirts, where my office is). With Idea, I have noticed that cell coverage never really breaks, but then again you pay for 3G and get 2G (Edge) in most places..slow internet when you need it the most.
