Internal Promotion Requires Immediate EP-1 update?

Hi There,

Could you please help me understand if internal movement (software Developer to Senior Software Developer) within a company requires immediate EP update? or title on the Employment pass can be updated with following renewal?

Are company not allowed to promote employee to new role without immediately changing EP?

P.S : Senior Software Developer position is also a new position in organization and it did not existed before.

Yes, any amendment of designation can be updated with MDEC and thereafter to be reflected in the EP sticker ya!

Is it still ok if updating to MDEC and updating EP is done in 3 to 6 months of time after employee is promoted and salary revision done ?
