Applying For Permanent Residency With Third Country Circumstances.

So I am trying to get the ball rolling in my quest to obtain permanent residency status in Mexico.

I am posting this to see if anyone has had the same circumstance as mine. Maybe not the same birth country as me, but just in any third country in general.

I was born in Jamaica and moved to Canada as a child, I have since obtained full Canadian citizenship.

Now I want apply for Mexican permanent residency status.

My guess is that will I need to get my Jamaican birth certificate put through the Apostille process, but I am guessing I need to have that done in Jamaica and it needs to be done in Spanish to be recognized by Mexican immigration.

Dos that sound correct?
