Short break in Budapest

Hey gang,

I need a break, (Brtexit and all) although I've visted Budapest on a number of times on business travels but never explored the city. Are there any hidden treasures that a torisest woukd not find?

Absolutely. Many.

But it depends on what you want to see. And your interests. And what you consider "treasures".

For example, if you want to see history, if you walk down from Budapest Castle toward the river, there are a few places you can still see bullet holes on the buildings from WWII.

I know a profession guide, who knows quite a few such places, on many different topics one may find of interest. But.... hum... no... I won't impact their business and give away any details for free....  ;)
