Hi!

Is it possible to work with a tourist visa and what if the visa expires then?

Short answer, No.
on the other hand many language centers turn a blind eye and pay you cash.
Before visa expires, you need to do a "visa run", go to Spain for example for 24hrs and come back depending on nationalities, I guess.
But if visa expires, from what I heard, you will not be able to cross the border. will have to go to Police station, then in front of Judge and pay a fine.
