Oman 2 months employment contract visa

Hi,

I am John from Philippines. please shed some light on this matter. I was sponsored last january by a facility to enter oman. I was given 2 months employment contract visa. due to internal problems, I was not able to leave philippines. so now I am planning to cancel my visa with them, and look for new sponsor that can satisfy the policies of Philippines.

question is, will the 2 years oman ban be applicable to my case?

my former sponsor also presented letter to ROP about my visa cancellation, but ROP says they can't cancel it, and we have to wait for its expiration. does that mean my new sponsor cant apply for new contract visa?Thank you so much

If the visa did not get stamped here in embassy, then he could apply for the same.

the ban will not be applicable if you have not joined your planned sponsor. But surely a new sponsor will face a little trouble at ROP to release your name from the active visa that your planned sponsor have not canceled.
