Does anyone know roughly how much a full time driver would be in sao Paulo for the hours of 8-6 Mon to Fri?

Get a licensed Cab Driver.  Most of them will be more than pleased to service your needs and know the city cold. 

Retired Police officers with a hackney license are a good find.

Avoid Uber Drivers at all costs.   They do not know the lay of the land, are not dependable, do not spend the right amount of maintenance in their vehicles, and worse, have nothing to lose.  A licensed cabbie has vested interest in their license.
