Are you living in Chile? We need you to share your experience of the local customs :)

Is it difficult to adjust to the local customs in Chile?

Could you please share with us a list of the do's and don't's in Chile?

Thanks!

Hi, Chileans are friendly but a bit stressed, so any chance you get to ask them out for a drink or something, you'll be alright, lol.
I can give you some advice about life in Valparaiso and Viña: be carefull in Valparaiso at night, cause it's a bit dangerous and you can get mugged.
Viña del Mar is very beautiful and very crowded at night, specially in San Martin, which is where all the pubs and bars are located (it's on the coast).
Don't: let your bags or purses out of your sight when you'r eating out.
Don't: go out with fancy cameras in Valpo at night.
Do: take a walk from the beach from Reñaca to Concon along the coast.
Do: Go to San Martin at night
Do: go to the south of Chile cause it's so beautiful that you won't even believe it.
Do: try to speak spanish, even if it's hard, cause chileans like it when foreigners try to communicate and learn our language.

Finally, Chile is a great country so just have fun and ask for help whenever you need it
good luck
