Hi,

My husband and I are moving to Chile in November. His office is located in Vina and mine in Santiago. I have been wondering if it is it possible to commute daily from Vina to Santiago?

I have read that bus services are good and frequent and it's only a 1.5 hrs drive. Do people generally do this or would this be a futile exercise leaving me totally exhausted?

Any help in this regard will be deeply appreciated!!

Many thanks in advance.

Cheers

Yes!, bus terminal in Viña del Mar there are buses that going to Santiago every 15 minutes, between 06.00 am to 23.00 hrs,  tickets cost (from viña to santiago and return) between 5.000 to 6.500 CLP (12 dolars), is like... 1.8 hrs.

There is the bus terminal in viña del mar maps.google.cl/maps?q=terminal+buses+vi%C3%B1a+del+mar&hl=es&ie=UTF8&ll=-33.025226,-71.547185&spn=0.002717,0.006899&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-a&vpsrc=6&t=h&z=17&iwloc=A

There are two terminals of buses in Santiago, Alameda and Pajaritos, there is Pajaritos , is front of Subway.
