Hi everybody,

How did you find your job in Dubai? Is there any recommended website?

Would you recommend a recruitment company or headhunters?

Thanks in advance for sharing your experience with us

According to a recruitment agancy boss on radio this morning, research shows that between 50% and 70% of jobs are found by networking.
There are so many unprofessional recruitment agencies around that finding a good reputable one is the key if you plan to go that route. The classified section of Gulf News is another good option.

So it's not easy to find a job in Dubai when you are not already living in the city?

Julien, hundreds and often, literally, thousands of people apply for each job. Example - my wife is Office General Manager. When the job was advertised the company received over one thousand applications.  She advertised for a secretary, applications to the company website. In two days they had over 4,000 applications.
Nearly 300,000 people moved to Dubai last year - that's eight hundred people every day.
With that level of activity, being here to go to interviews, network with people etc gives you a much better chance.
