Driving Licence

I'm only in Kuwait for a month. I have a Uk driving licence (Photo). Can I drive in Kuwiat and if so what must I do? my company has three cars sat here doing nothing and I'm having to get a taxi any time I travel.

I drove on my american license, I just had to buy insurance wich I believe costs 11KD for 1 month or 14KD for 2 months. The mandoob at the company bought me the insurance.

Thanks for the information, I'll contact my employers insurance company and find out if they are able to do it.

I think Once you have UK licnence its very easy to get kuwait licnence you can ask your Company Mandoop and i think he can do it for you.

You can use your UK license until you get yuour civil ID, once you have this you need a Kuwait driving license. To get this you need to get your UK license attested to at the British Embassy, complete the forms and then the Mandoop will arrange everything else, it usually takes a half day of going from one place to another....eye tests, stamps etc. the usual job creation process
