Visa Duration of Stay

I would be grateful if someone could advise me on the following query.

Recently, I received a work visa for Saudi Arabia, which states its validity until 25th August and a duration of stay of 90 days.

It is clear that I can travel before the 25th of August. However, does the duration of stay (90 days) count from the entry into the kingdom?
