Its definitely do able but like Fred has said, you wont be well off. Everything you earn will essentially go towards any bills and essentials you want. There will not really be anything left over for yourself. You may think you'll be willing to sacrifice these to be back in your 'real home' but after a while, not being able to treat yourself or indulge a little might make you resent being in Glasgow. I'd suggest like ScotsAlan maybe staying with relatives until you are more financially secure and can realistically support yourself. If you do not want to do this then try and find a roommate ect, which will cut your costs substantially. Also where you live in Glasgow also depends on how much you will spend, be realistic about what you can afford and look at the area you will be living in. You dont want to live in a bad area in Glasgow because thats all you can afford, that too may also make you resent being there.

A  Flat may cost you £80 per week,then you should add £20 for electricity,then there is that dreaded council tax another £20 per week,£30 for food if you cook it yourself,and that will cost you £150 per week,the rest is yours to spend or save.
