Unlimited single permit = any employer + unlimited residency?

gafarvictoir

Hi all,

I have a question. All I find on the official websites of the 3 regions are not completely clear to me.

Deas having an unlimited single permit (which you may apply for after 2 to 4 years depending on your origins and family situation) means:

(1) access to unlimited employers (you can work for any employer)

and

(2) you can also stay in Belgium for an unlimited period (provided you have a job)

Please do help me clarify.

1) yep

2) not until you receive a long term residence card: C / D / E / E+ / F / F+ / L / K / M / (and at some point N too depending on the context). Once you get the card, then yes!
