Travel to Belgium in 2021

ryanjune2035a

Hello, has anybody travelled to Belgium just now in 2021? I start a new job and also aim to move to Ghent.
I live in Bristol uk and will travel with my german passport. I expect and so far understand from official online sources it needs a virus-negative test passed max. 72 hours before the travel and a belgique Traveller Location Form completed.
Does anybody know what travelling, as an EU national, from virus-red-zone UK  to Belgium does require?
Thanks for any info.

Hi,

you'll find all the information you need on the government's website about covid19 & travel:

( Do to my work i traveled across borders under Virus regulations and lost immense time and money due to non-defined information).
That is why i am asking here. The information on the Gov Website is diverse. It does not give a defined answer. If somebody travels with a virus-negative test 72 hours young or less, the Belgique passenger locater form, and all I.D. - is it enough? -

As far as I remember UK is no longer in "red" color / high risk country.
That was the case when the delta variant was only in UK, month ago.

Like you said, basically, you just need to fill the psf form, pcr / EU vaccination certificate & your european passport / id
Send an email/phone call to the belgian embassy just to make sure

Thanks Alex (i wrote an email to the embassy already, no reply yet, might take time)
Yes will try and find out if Virus-Negativ test is enough. (I'm so done with the UK that i'd prefer to do quarantaine and/or vaccination in the EU/Belgium).
I'll find out.
