Work permit procedure from parent to child company

Dear All,
I have query regarding work permit.

My current parent company is planning to have another child company and we will be moved to child company.

Currently my work permit is attached to parent company. Do we need to again submit the document for work permit when we are moved to child company?

I did not find any info in this regards.
Any pointers will be appreciated

(Usually) Your employers HR will be taking care of this internally.

Thanks for your reply Aneesh.
Actually I was wondering how it will be in real scenario.

Since parent company had different VAT number and now child company will also have new VAT numbers.
In the annexure 46 we can see the employer VAT number is attached to our work permit

Hi

The ministry has made a provision from late 2020 to be able to transfer WP internally in cases like yours.

I can't find the link but I'm sure read that
