Professional cards, dependents?

audreykindell

Hello all,

I’ve been recently looking into the professional card route of living in Belgium. My main question is can you bring your dependents if you are granted it? (I do know that residence permit is a separate application.) I looked all over the consulate’s website and reviewed the application requirements for Wallonia but I couldn’t find anything explicit about dependents.

My other option for moving to Belgium is with a large company in Brussels. I know that I can bring my dependents that way. I’d prefer the self employed path though if I can have my family.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Safer option is to work with a company, bring your dependents here and then move to professional card/freelancing.

Thank you for replying but I’m looking to find out the process for bringing dependents with a professional card so that I can weigh my own options.

I’ve emigrated to the UK and France in the past. I’m not new to jumping through hoops to get it done.
