Need help on Spouse visa steps

Dear All,

I will be getting married to my Belgian Fiance in India by Aug'19 through court marriage. Could you please suggest me which visa C or D i need to apply to go along with her. What is further procedure to apply long term visa. What are the documents i needed for this.

I tried to get information by calling Belgium Embassy in Delhi but they ask me to refer website of Belgium embassy which does not has much information.

I have already apsotile my all Civil documnets(other than educational).

My fiance also tried to get information about visa from her local townhall where she resides in Belgium but that was aslo not so helpful.

Requesting you to please help me by providing information.

Information (that will be helpful for your Belgian partner) is available in official website that Phipiemar shared. If you read through that page, you may have seen a section "Can my foreign partner set up residence in Belgium?" and a link to the visa procedures page, which then points to DOFI (foreign and immigration ministry) website. A bit more research and you will end up in https://dofi.ibz.be/sites/dvzoe/FR/Guid … ilial.aspx

This page has all info for your partner to read and understand.

From experience just by reading existing posts in the forum, you need to apply a D type family reunion visa from India.

And the thread https://www.expat.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=510243 (in which you already commented the same question that you asked in this new thread), has some useful information based on someone who did the exact same procedure as you are going to do.
