A Card Unlimited Renewal or L Card Application

Hello everyone,

I have 1 question. My Unlimited A card expires on November 11, and I am eligible to apply for the L card on September 25. At this point, do I need to renew my A card, or should I apply directly for the L card without renewing the A card?

Apply for your A card renewal at least 45 days before its expiry date. Based on your 5-year stay, you can apply for the L card. Since the L card approval process usually takes around 5 months, it is important to renew your A card in the meantime to maintain valid residency.

Edit: if you already eligible in Sep 25 then apply for L directly at least before 5 or 6 month in advance of A card expiry.
