Query on annex while work permit is in progress

I would be switching jobs while being on Card-A. New employer will be raising the work permit. I would like to know what happens if RP card expires before the work authorization is received. Is the application enough to receive an temporary annex from commune?

You will receive an temp. annex ( its annex 15 or 16 don’t really remember) while waiting for your new permits. In the meantime, you will not be able to work until your new work permit is granted. Application would be enough to receive temp annex. You better talk to your commune for details.

Thank you. So, as I understand, if the work permit application is submitted , but WA decision is not received, it is possible to stay back with the annex, but not work until WA is received. Hope the understanding is correct?
