Hi,

I am here on a work visa and got fired. I still have three weeks for my permanent residence permit. Would this affect the immigration’s office decision?

If you are working with work visa this means you are waiting for your residence permit. Not permanent residence.


In this case you have 3 months to find another job and your employer should apply for you a work permit.


If you are waiting for permanent residence (in this case i suppose  at least for 5 years you are living an working in BE ) and meanwhile if you are fired you dont need to worry. Your last residence permit still is valid 3 months.
