Is immigration in India allowed to validate resident card ?

Poolnoodle

Hi,

I was not able to find any topic about this  but the question is since single permit is issued only for 1 year in passport and then we get 3 years valid resident card, if i travel to my home country after the date on my passport and return back , at the immigration check  will it be still valid with resident card, is immigration in india allowed to validate resident card ?

Yes the immigration at Europe as well as India will only check the resident card, the initial visa on the passport is no longer required. Make sure your passport and resident card are valid, nothing else matters.
