Pregnant and losing residency

Petunia88

Hello all, I need some advice or recommendations of who to contact to answer my questions. I am 7 months pregnant (due early December) on a 2 year single permit and my contract ending in November might not get renewed. If that's the case, I need to understand whether I can still qualify for maternity leave, parental leave and employment benefits, and whether my residency can be extended beyond the 3 months until I have used the maternity and parental leaves and can start looking for work again. My husband is on a family reunification visa and works for an American company remotely.

Might be better to go to your commune and ask the reception whom you can consult or go to a immigration lawyer.
