@Hanney Bustami Hi , Depends what you want to do in Belgium.

Since you are not from the EU, doing the Inburgering will help you find a job and also in the future for citizenship.

@BMM996210 yes, for me, sure I will take the language lesson and test, but for my Dutch husband, did he need too?. As my friend said : " not only you ( as non EU Citizen) , but Your Dutch husband need to do the inburgering test too". My question is, did My husband need to take the test as well? .

@Hanney Bustami I dont know to be honest... is he also going to look for a local job or already have one?

Inburgering is not mandatory if you or your husband don't have intention for citizenship.

On the other hand end of inburgering there is no language test.

Language test is end of the language courses which is independent than inburgering.

@maharaji1984 hi thanks, I think he will keep his Nederland citizenship.

It is not mandatory for EU citizens and their non EU family members but it is a plus if you want to live in Belgium and helps to obtain Belgian citizenship if he ever wants to have but with a Dutch citizenship there is no difference.

It is mandatory in Flanders for non EU citizens and family members of Belgians.

Also people with Belgium citizen ship who are born abroad can take the inburgering as well if they want to do it as well.
