Hello finannati,

From what I read on the internet,

Non-EU/EEA are also permitted to apply for a permanent residence permit after they have lived in Belgium for five straight years. However, you need to apply for it at your local office. They will send your application for review to the Immigration Office.

Souce: Belgium Permanent Residence Permit

I assume you are entitled to it, but you will have to wait five years before you can start the process.

Hopefully someone on this forum who has done the same thing can help you with this.

Cheers,

Cheryl

Indeed, you must complete 5 years of stay (date counted from the date of issue of your very first residence permit).

Is it really the date of residence permit or the date of registration in alien register? I am registered in register since 30/7/2018 but issue date of my card is 5/10/2018. From flanders web site i got this:

is registered in the aliens register

of Antwerp since 30.07.2018

please consider this dateΒ  30/7/2018

So ideally you are eligible to apply 2023 July.

I have also checked with Local Commune, They will consider the date you registered first time in local commune
