When I married my Indonesian wife in BSD City, I converted to Islam and immediately afterwards did the marriage. Essentially the conversion and marriage were done at the same time by the same person.

Yes, you need a Certificate of No Impediment which I think I got from the British Embassy in Jakarta or Malaysia,  I don't really remember as it was so long ago. And I did it all on a tourist visa.

@FredGood afternoon everyone

Thanks for your information. Today I spoke with my partner in Jakarta and she has to do a lot of documentation. In short, be patient.

Greetings and have a good weekend to all.

@FredGood afternoon to you.

I would like to ask you a question.

I am processing through the Civil Registry of my region the

CERTIFICATE OF MARRIAGE CAPACITY

Since I plan to marry my partner in Indonesia through the laws of the country.

DO NOT GET MARRIED AT THE SPANISH EMBASSY IN JAKARTA

Said civil registry asks me for certain documents.

But what surprises me is that my partner also asks me for

birth certificate

Marital status certificate

Certificate of registration

And later, in theory she should do an interview at the Spanish Embassy in Jakarta

If, as I said previously, I will get married according to the laws of Indonesia, are the aforementioned documents necessary for my Civil Registry in Spain to provide me with the CERTIFICATE OF MARRIAGE CAPACITY?
