My wife is Sudanese American currently living in Sudan , our marriage contract was  done using her Sudanese passport.

For her Iqama , I want to bring her to Saudi as an American , I wanted to know will Saudi authorities accept her American passport and the Sudanese marriage contract during Iqama visa application? If not what are the requirements?

Thanks alot

I don't think it's an issue for visa issuance.
While placing request in Absher you need to input your wife US passport details and port of entry.
If your profession is on eligibility criteria, visa is issued straight away.

If by appointment for sure you can convince the officer as you are an arabic speaker if he questions. If not just attach your marriage contract as enclosure to application.

Did you try filling the online request,  you can see the requirements prior to placing request.

It would not be a big problem.
Ask your wife to get help from American Embassy on this one.
Maybe there is some sort of documents would have required to declare you her husband as she is going to apply for visa as an American.

Thanks alot for your responses, I did file an online request through Absher today, I'm suspecting rejection from the Saudi embassy in Sudan.

We already contacted the US consulate in Sudan and Saudi but they all asked us to check with Alien Affairs here in Saudi or the Saudi embassy in Sudan and provided nothing else.

We tried contacting the embassy and their response was that her passport number should match in all documents which is not possible since the marriage contract is only issued once in Sudan and there is no way in issuing it under her American passport.

I guess we are going to try our luck and see how it goes there

Don't worry stay positive as long as your our name is marriage contract nothing will happen you can convince the authorities.

Even you have different options to bring your wife on sudanese passport.

Also US PP holders are eligible for on arrival tourist for one year. Once the covid rules lifted she can join you.

Don't be panic.
It will be fine. She will get her visa one way or other.
