I'm in the process of applying for a work permit (including my dependents). However, my wife's birth certificate is in Tamil. Getting an english version issued by the municipal corporation will take considerable time. Can I submit a notarized english translation of the tamil birth certificate to the VFS? Have you come across such situation in the past? What are the options that we have?
