Hello,
My name is Ethan im a US citizen. I currently live in kuwait with my fiancée who is Tunisian also muslim. We are planning on getting married in July of this year and need advice on all documents needed to complete this. Upon reading other posts it says I need.

Birth certificate
Single to marry affidavit (either arabic or french)
Medical exam/ cerificate
Also, my finacee friend mentioned I need a marriage license, Im not sure what that is or where to go about getting one??

Please help if anyone may have information on this topic.

Are you getting married in Tunisia? The us embassy will give you the affidavit of free to marry. I believe the marriage license is just the marriage contract. The medical exams must be preformed in Tunisia and your birth certificate must be issued within 3 months of the marriage.
