Hello y'all!
Quick question:
- My German work visa expires on 30th of September 2018.
- My Permesso di Soggiorno (studio) expires on 30th of September 2018 as well.
- I have my Permesso di Soggiorno (renewal ~ conversion from studio to per attesa occupazione) appointment on 21st of November 2018.
Can I extend my stay in Germany just on the renewal receipt?

They are 2 different documents for 2 different things. The Permesso document gives you permission to reside/work in Italy for the duration of its validity; it also acts as a travel permit between the Schengen countries, allowing you 90 days to stay in the new country before you have to move on. The German work visa is what it says - a German work visa and has nothing to do with your residence permit for Italy.
