Hi there,

I was wondering how you all feel about the new Pick 'n Pay opening at Bagatelle & Cascavelle Malls later this year?

alisa_ram

Hiya

By feel you mean whether we like it or not?

Julien

Hi Mardu,

sorry for the question but ... what is Pick 'n Pay ?

FeeAcer

Hi Julien :)

Pick 'n Pay is a South African Supermarket chain store.

Have a nice day further

But isn't that what one normally does in a supermarket?.. you pick things then go to the cashier and pay for it (or am i missing something?)

Pick and pay is a supermarket with a larger variety and cheaper than spar.
Looking forward to the opening.

Julien

What is it with all these stupid names?

Why not open a store called Depart'n'Drive'n'Park'n'Pick'n'Buy'n'GetHome Store?

they could sell Open'n'Eat Baked Beans.. or  Sh*t'n'Wipe Toilet paper... or Sneeze'n'Blow tissue paper... or TakeOut'n'Do condoms... or F*rt'n'Spray Deodoriser... or Live'n'Die Funeral Directors

One shop in port louis is called 'Park'n'Buy'. Bloody crap.. i mean i'm not gonna drive by, pull down my window and tell them to aim and throw my purchased goods through my car window while i'm still driving by? Obviously I must park! And what if I go there by foot? What do I 'park' then..my ar*se?

Who comes up with stupid unoriginal names like that?

Mardu

Hi All,

Thanks for the reply.

Pick 'n Pay is one of the biggest retail shops in South Africa, like Spar and Shoprite.
Yes, the name says it all, you pick and (of course) pay.

The 1st will open in the Bagatelle Mall en of September, the 2nd at Cascavelle Mall end of October and the 3rd in Grand Baie by November 2012.

Look forward to meet all soon!

Have a great day!

mhgene
