Hello all,

I am currently in Germany with the intent of applying for a freelance visa, and to visit my boyfriend who is here on a work visa. We have suspicion that I am pregnant (won't be 100% sure until a doctor's visit), and so I am wondering what our options are in terms of me being able to stay with him. If I am pregnant, I want to be able to carry out the pregnancy by his side.

Unless medical reasons prevent you from travelling, being pregnant does not entitle you to a longer stay in Germany, beyond your current visit visa.
Thus you need to get a visa on other grounds. The freelancer visa you mentioned is an option, as is a family reunion visa if you decide to marry.
