Hi guys my name is yugan and I'm leaving to kuwait on the 10th of next month i will be working as a technicalteam leader for jaguar at a rate of 1500kd with 100kd towards housing allowance and 50 kd for travel allowance all adds up to 1500kd I'm from south africa and will be based in salmiya in Kuwait please advise as I am planning on flying up my wife and my 17 month old baby girl it's been a long time dream of mine to work abroad and I've been giving an opportunity to do so.my question is in the first 6 months what type of salary can i send back home ?

Hello!
You can save at least 700kd per month. You should be finding a flat of 2 rooms for not more than 500-550kd and the supermarket will not be more than 250-300kd and even less if you are good administrating yourself.
I highly recommend you to live in Salmiya zone.
