Hi I am David . I moved to Spain last May and finally found a place in Ontinyent Valencia province . I am struggling with the red tape and the language barrier.
I am busy renovating my house and trying to correct some of the workmanship from a previous renovation.
Keen to meet people in the area and to get to know people on here . hopefully we can all help each other with everyday life in Spain.
Please get in touch especially if you live in or around Ontinyent .
I desperately need to learn Spanish .

Hi David
Have just joined the forum. Hope the building work is progressing well.
We bought a house in Ontinyent too about 6 years ago. Had it renovated but our Welsh builder didn't do a great job.
Just wondering whether you know any handymen to carry out the odd job.

It is progressing well thanks . I am happy to do the odd job for you if you are interested .I can do most minor building works and Garden maintenance to a high standard .
I know the feeling when it comes to builders , I have spent a year correcting botched work.
I am an electronics engineer originally so I can do electrical work without certification.
Hope that is helpful if you ever need anything .
