Hey there!!
I'm an Egyptian married to a German and I will be applying for the family reunion visa, my appointment is in December.
I'd like to know how long it takes for the visa to be processed for Egyptians applying for the visa. Since the embassy gave me an appointment 2 and a half months after I applied for it I think it will take longer to process my application if it takes that much time to just go for the visa interview at the embassy.
Please if any Egyptian married to a German here can give me some information about the process and everything it would be much appreciated.

The visa is processed by the foreigner authority of your spouse's hometown (or wherever else you intend to move to). Processing time depends on how long they need.
It took three months in our case, but that was long before the refugee crises, so it's probably longer now.
