hi this is mousumi from India...i am getting married this month and i am planning to shift to muscat soon.. i wanted to know whether it is mandatory to change my maiden surname after marriage to obtain a dependant visa for oman? Do the Oman Embassy object if the surname is not changed?

kemon achho ? u dont have to change your name even my wife's name is her maiden name , no worries . welcome to Oman . The embassy will only check ur marriage certificate and the spouse names on both the passports
