Hi everyone, I live in Bloemfontein South Africa. Me and my family want to immigrate to Canada with permanent residency. I know the primary applicant must do the IELTS (International English Language Testing System) test. What I want to know is whether my wife will also need to take the test?

No. If you are the primary applicant, then it is you and only you that needs to sit for the exam.
