Okay, so has anyone done this before? My bank is asking for an IRC (international Routing Number) for the bank in France I want to transfer to.
Basically, they ask for IBAN, SWIFT BIC, and the IRC...but I don't think France has an International Routing Number. Can anyone tell me their experience with this...? I bank with Wells Fargo...

, code banque I think is what your looking for it identifies the exact bank/branch where the money is going, so not one you want to get wrong. I think its a 9 digit number.
Not that I've tried it.
In the UK I think the equivalent is a sort code, just for the record I am not a banker, though I once did work experience in the Devils Lair
