Zumba class in Gozo

Post new topic

georgedina

Hello everyone,  I'm here from Edinburgh for 2 months and live in Qala, Gozo. I come over as often as possible to enjoy this beautiful part of the world.  I'm a Zumba instructor (an older one - 55!) and run classes back home but I really miss Zumba when away so this time I've hired one of the halls at Gozo Sports Complex in Victoria from 2 - 3pm on a Saturday and am holding a Zumba class there every week. It's a free class as I'm here as a tourist so can't earn money but a small contribution towards the hire of the hall is always welcome. Also, I'll be at the Downtown Cafe across the road from the Sports Complex at 1pm if anyone wants to come along and meet folk. Even if you're not going to the class it would be a good opportunity to meet people and make friends. My website is georgetteneilson.zumba.com and I've just started a Facebook page Gozo Zumba. Hope to see you Saturday!   Georgette :)

Hi Georgette,
how long will you be on Gozo? I am over from 4-12 December and will be missing my weekly Zumba Gold class, if you are still running your class on 6 December I would love to attend.

Unfortunately, I've just stopped this class as there weren't enough people turning up. However, I've heard that there's a Zumba class at Xhgara at 2.30pm on a Saturday outside on the football ground near the temple. I'm going there this Saturday to check it out.

Also, seen on a notice board :  ZUMBA classes being offered by Fontana Local Council. Instructor is Victoria Gatt. The classes will be on Saturday at 4:15 p.m., and will run from November 8, 2014, to April 25, 2015. Cost is 30 euros for 25 sessions. For information and to register, contact the Fontana Local Council on 21558877.
